My name is Christophe. I'm a passionate rafting guide who fell in love with this valley and the human connections it makes possible.
Born on the water, in love with the mountains
Since my very first paddle strokes in the Ubaye rapids, I've known this river is extraordinary. It offers that rare combination: accessible rapids for everyone and a nature still largely untouched.
I guided groups for other operators for many years, but I had a clear vision of what I wanted to offer: an authentic experience, in small groups, where every participant truly matters. That's how Rivière Sauvage was born.
One boat per outing. I know your name before we set off. I adapt to your group, your level, your wishes. This isn't a factory-line service — it's a genuine shared moment.
